- Which plans offer ColdFusion 9?
- Answer:
- We currently offer ColdFusion 9 Enterprise Edition as an add-in option when you order one of our Windows Standard or Windows Plus shared-hosting plans.
- Question:
- I have a ColdFusion 8 hosting account (either CF Builder or CF Builder +). How do I switch to a ColdFusion 9 hosting account?
- Answer:
- ColdFusion 8 customers must order a new Windows Standard or Windows Plus hosting plan through our order form and select the ColdFusion 9 add-on as an option. Please note in the order comments field if you need your existing site migrated to the new hosting plan. You may also call 877-215-4678 and a HostMySite support technician will be happy to assist you.
- Question:
- I am an existing shared hosting customer. Can I get ColdFusion 9 for my website?
- Answer:
- Yes. If you presently have a Windows Standard or Windows Plus shared hosting plan you can request to the ColdFusion 9 add-on to your existing plan by contacting HostmySite Customer Support at 877-215-4678
If you do not have either the Windows Standard or Windows Plus hosting plans, you will need to order one and select ColdFusion 9 as an add-on option during the order process. - Have any ColdFusion MX 8 tags been depreciated in ColdFusion 9?
- Answer:
- No. All ColdFusion MX 8 tags work in ColdFusion 9.
- Question:
- Do you offer RDS?
- Answer:
- No. We do not offer RDS. In a shared hosting environment, RDS is a security risk and therefore is not something we can offer on our production servers. This is to protect our customers as well as the servers.
