How do I utilize the Global Address List?
The following article explains how to utilize the global address list. The global address list contains a list of each user that is setup for the domain, similar to the contact list. The global address list can be used to quickly send a message to a user in the domain, view information about the user, or export the users. The global address list is available to all users in the domain.
To utilize the global address list, please follow these steps:
- Open a browser window and go to one of the following URLs:
- http://mail.domainname.com
- http://mail#.safesecureweb.com (this address is provided in the setup email)
- Login using your email address and password.
- From the top menu bar, click Collaborate.
- From the left side bar, click Contacts.
- Expand Global Address List and click All Contacts.
- To send an email to a specific user, check the user and click Email Selected.
- To export all contacts, mouseover Import/Export and select Export All Contacts.
- To export specific contacts, check the contact(s), mouseover Import/Export and select Export All Contacts.
