How do I create a domain alias?
The following article explains how to create a domain alias. A domain alias is a domain name that points to the same Exchange account as your current domain name. For example, your domain name is mydomain.com with mydomain.net set as an alias pointing to mydomain.com. Emails sent to user@mydomain.net will be delivered to user@mydomain.com.
To create a domain alias, please follow these steps:
- Open a browser window and go to www.HostMySite.com
- Click on Control Panel Login.
- Log into the Control Panel as the Account Administrator and select the appropriate domain.
- Expand Exchange Administration and click Manage Domain Aliases.
- Select the Primary domain for the alias.
- Enter the domain name for the new domain alias.
- Click Add Alias.
