How do I create an email auto-responder?

The following article explains how to create an email auto-responder. An auto-responder is used to send an automated reply to an email message that is received. One of the most common uses for an auto-responder is a vacation message.

To create an e-mail auto-responder, please follow these steps:

  1. Open a browser window and go to one of the following URLs:
    • http://mail.yourdomainname.com
    • http://mail#.safesecureweb.com (this address is provided in the setup email)
  2. Login using your email address and password.
  3. From the Settings menu select My Auto-Responder.
  4. Check Enable Auto-Responder.
  5. Enter the Subject for the automated message.
  6. Enter the Body of the message.
  7. Click Save.
